THE POWER OF YOUR INVESTMENT
$30 provides one day of instruction to 20 low-income youth with experiences they do not receive during school (i.e., girls empowerment, environmental education, diversity education, arts, financial literacy)!
$250 provides one low-income youth with individualized tutoring & enrichment workshops for one month.
$500 gives one low-income youth the opportunity to learn cutting-edge technology programs for one year!
$1,000 gives 20 low-income youth in grades 1-5 the opportunity to take 11 weeks of enrichment & leadership workshops!

WHY DONATE TO OASES
OASES increases cost-efficiency by training the largest number of volunteers in Oakland - 400 UC Berkeley students- to provide tutoring and mentoring to approximately 34,000 hours of tutoring to 400 low-income youth.
This cost-savings results in an in-kind contribution of $229,500 (based on California Minimum Wage) every year!
