OASES’ 6th Annual Benefit Was the Most Successful Fundraiser in OASES’ History! (October 2006)
Thank you for making OASES’ 6th Annual Benefit the most successful fundraiser in OASES’ history! Thanks to our sponsors, and over 200 guests, we raised more money than any previous fundraisers- over $29,000!
Further, several guests even said it was "the best OASES fundraiser ever" and talked about how much they enjoyed the endearing chorus performance by youth in the OASES Music Stars Workshop. Alameda County Superior Court Judge Gee also delivered an inspiring keynote speech, and Ali Wong gave a comedy performance.
"It is an honor to celebrate how OASES is making a huge impact- 90% of OASES youth graduating from high school are the first in their families to attend college," said Nhi Chau, OASES Executive Director.
